Treatment
"The chase" follows a cat and mouse chase with 16 sixteen your old school girl Anna and a masked man. Anna is characterised as hard working and has a passion for her studies. She is tall and brunette and has a lot going for her, she has a wide circle of friends. She has a stable family and lives a normal lifestyle in corner of North West London. The whole film is set in on the school premises. Its a normal school day and she says goodbye to her friends in the classroom as she hope to finish some work, Anna plugs in her headphones then sets about on her journey out of the school and out home. On her way out we feel a presence of her being watched. She comes across several obstacles that stop her from getting out the school building; for example locked doors and dark corridors. We are then presented with a masked figure(persumably a phsychopath) who is on the pursuit of vulnerable Anna. When Anna realises something is up, she comes across noises from Library- she see's Tom, a boy shes never seen before but automatically a friendship is formed as they both realise they are both in the same position. Anna stays wary of Tom, as some of his actions and knowledge of the school seem to be good to be true. Is Tom alone?
The film follows themes of frienship, trust and survivial. The film picks up fast paced momentum as the masked figure gets closer and closer to Anna and Tom. Will they make it out alive?
